Born in Hong Kong, Chef Alex honed his craft out of necessity—cooking for his siblings before rising through local kitchens. Trained under Master Chef Chan Tung who is a master in Chiu Chow cuisine, Chef Alex mastered the art of traditional Chiu Chow cuisine. Now at Michelin-Selected Li Yen, The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur, he presents exquisite Chiu Chow dishes blending heritage techniques with modern finesse from braised delicacies to pristine seafood.
